Leading Indian law firm Trilegal has appointed Sandeep Ghosh as its first-ever Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s evolution as it strengthens its leadership structure for long-term institutional growth.
The appointment reflects Trilegal’s strategic focus on enhancing operational excellence while enabling its partners to concentrate on client relationships, legal innovation, and market leadership. According to the firm’s management committee, Ghosh’s extensive leadership experience will help accelerate the firm’s transformation and support its next phase of expansion.
Ghosh brings over three decades of experience across banking, financial services, consumer businesses, and advisory sectors. Before joining Trilegal, he served as Group Country Manager for India and South Asia at Visa. His leadership career also includes senior positions at EY, AXA, ANZ, and Citi, where he led large-scale business transformation and strategic initiatives.
Commenting on his appointment, Ghosh highlighted that the legal services industry is undergoing rapid change, driven by evolving client expectations, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and new service delivery models. He expressed confidence that Trilegal is well-positioned to capitalize on these shifts and said he looks forward to working closely with the firm’s leadership to build a stronger, future-ready organization.
The appointment underscores a broader trend within professional services firms, where dedicated executive leadership is becoming increasingly important to navigate technological disruption, operational complexity, and sustained business growth.
